European E4 Path

The E4 in Crete includes 91 different hiking trails of various types and levels of difficulty. Some sections are alpine in character, while others follow the coastline or run inland.

The section of the E4 in Crete starts from Kastelli Kissamos, descends to Elafonissi, crosses the whole of Crete (in two sections that are reunited), reaches Kato Zakros, climbs northwards and ends in the area of Sitia.
